Merryvale School Visit 2017

Puttergill Farming had the privilege of welcoming Merryvale School – a special needs school in Port Elizabeth – for their 3rd annual visit to our farm.

The children were given the opportunity to interact with calves and cows, and also watched how the milking gets done.

This year, in addition to their farm experience, the children visited the Woodridge Equestrian Centre, where they got the opportunity to see and learn a little bit about the horses.

Special thanks to Woodlands Dairy for providing flavoured milkshakes for all the children to enjoy, and Crossways Farm Village / Crossways Country Kitchen for providing the perfect picnic spot!
